While the echo of feminism is growing louder in the West and in today's society, in Cameroon, International Women's Day has always been considered a day to remember. A special loincloth is printed every year, which all women are invited to wear, sewn in the pattern of their choice. Companies organize festivities and parades where women, united by the colors of their festive outfits, parade and dance through the streets.
