The Gblo Gblo Saka festival takes place in Gagnoa, at the initiative of five women's rice producing cooperatives grouped within an NGO, in Guépahouon located 35 km from Oumé. If the 2018 edition took place in January, the 2019 edition was in August. "Saka Doa Baillê Lehon" means in Gagou "the new rice is good to eat". Every year for the past three years the rice festival has been held to celebrate the harvest. The idea is to promote rice cultivation to support the local rice market. The festival presents different varieties of rice and a culinary competition of local recipes.
