The Plus Digne la Vie collective was created on December 10, 2008. He counted in his honorary committee the Nobel Prize winner Elie Wiesel, a writer, who died in 2016. The presence of Marie de Hennezel, psychologist, Marina Carrère d'Encausse, doctor, and Axel Kahn, geneticist, among others, is noted. Chaired by Professor Emmanuel Hirsch, philosopher and director of the AP/HP Ethical Space, it brings together many health professionals, institutional and associative decision-makers, and volunteers concerned with the issue of euthanasia in order to reflect and provide solutions that reflect the 2005 Leonetti law and encourage ethical reflection on the right to "a life worth living".
