The French association of gluten intolerant (Afdiag) is managed by cœliaques or parents of cœliaques children. It has approximately 6.000 family members. To inform the cœliaques and more widely about gluten-sensitive people, the association is placing a logo used throughout Europe on guaranteed gluten-free products. It represents a épi épi in a circle. The logo guarantees that the products meet a maximum of 20 mg/kg of residual gluten, that independent laboratories have carried out the analyses and that the results have been submitted to Afdiag.
