The Aéroclub de Cayenne-Matoury, also known as "Les ailes de la Guyane", is an aviation club located in Cayenne, French Guiana. Founded in 1947 by aviation enthusiasts, it offers a range of services and training courses for flying enthusiasts. The school is run by five experienced instructors who guide students through their training. The flying club currently has two Cessna 172s, but it is also possible to fly a Pitts S-2B in partnership with Guyane Voltige. Ultra-light aircraft enthusiasts are also welcome at the club. In addition, the flying club offers model aircraft courses for model aircraft enthusiasts. Every year, hundreds of people take part in the club's various activities, such as first flights and flyovers of inland communities. For those wishing to learn to fly or simply enjoy a first flight, the Aéroclub de Cayenne-Matoury is there to make their dreams come true.
