La Clef Verte is an environmental management label for tourist accommodation run by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) since 1998, it is awarded by an independent jury of tourism and environmental professionals. The Clef Verte label distinguishes the tourism establishment which carry out an ecological approach and are committed to reduce the impact of their activity on the environment: management of waste, water, energy, responsible purchasing and general environmental policy, while focusing on environmental awareness. Restaurants are also available, there are 20 today to have the label. So, do not wait for the holidays, among nearly 800 French establishments carrying the label, there is one for you!
