From 9 to 13 July, the Jazz festival took place in Porquerolles for the 14th time on the sublime golden island of Hyèroise. Hundreds of spectators flocked to Fort Sainte-Agathe every night to discover new talents such as the South African singer Sibongile Mbambo or Afro-American music giants such as the famous saxophonist Archie Shepp. At the end of the festival, cellist Dom La Nena flooded the audience with sweet melodies before Portuguese Antonio Zambujo took over with languorous pieces of Fado that sometimes made you feel like you were in Lisbon. Nothing to say, this festival was a moment of musical wonder every night, a little bubble of happiness at the top of Porquerolles. Ephemeral and timeless at the same time. We'll be back!
