In partnership with Le Petit Futé, Staff Me is touring France in a van to share 24 hours of the lives of 7 young auto-entrepreneurs and discover their region through their eyes. On this occasion, we interviewed Quentin de Staff Me.

Can you tell us about Staff Me?

StaffMe is the leading platform for on-demand student work. It allows young people aged 18 to 30 with self-employed status to receive directly on their phone offers of punctual services that are posted by companies and that are adapted to their desires, their schedules and close to home. The platform currently has more than 165,000 registered young people, 28,000 of whom provide daily services to more than 3,500 clients. In 2019, more than 1,200,000 hours of missions will have been carried out

What is your project for this summer?

The concept? To follow our adventures and meet these young people who have chosen to take their destiny into their own hands by becoming entrepreneurs and discover France through their eyes. What interests me is to enter into the intimacy of these young entrepreneurs by sharing 24 hours together. Lodging at their homes, I will try to understand their aspirations, I will let them discover what is particularly dear to their hearts in their city, whether it is an atypical place, a local initiative or even a personality they particularly admire. It will be a real time of exchange with each staffer, which will end with an aperitif in the evening around our van transformed into a disco bar, in the company of friends and other users of our platform.

On the program

Nantes (14/07), Bordeaux (17/07), Toulouse (20/07), Montpellier (23/07), Marseille (26/07) and Lyon (29/07), before a last stop in Paris (31/07) where the journey will end

It's also an opportunity to learn about the "van life", a true art of living that has been gaining popularity among young people for a few years now. By criss-crossing the small roads linking the towns-stages, Staff Me will make us appreciate the richness of our beautiful country, its landscapes, its cultural heritage with certainly some surprises on the program!
