Experience the magic of Rwanda through an immersive gorilla and golden monkey trekking experience, where culture, wildlife and spectacular scenery blend harmoniously. Your adventure begins in Kigali with a visit to the Genocide Memorial, offering a poignant glimpse into the country's history.
You'll continue your journey to Musanze to explore the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Foundation, to better understand gorilla conservation efforts, in preparation for the treks on days 2 and 3, where you'll visit two different gorilla families for an even richer experience in their natural habitat.
On day 3, you'll also have the chance to immerse yourself in local life with a visit to the Iby'iwacu Cultural Village (Gorilla Guardians Village). The trip concludes with a thrilling trek with the golden monkeys, before returning to Kigali with unforgettable memories.

You'll set off on your first day of gorilla trekking, a much-anticipated experience. Accompanied by experienced guides, you'll hike through the forest of the Parc National des Volcans in search of the rare mountain gorillas.
A unique and emotionally-charged experience, allowing you to observe these majestic creatures in their natural habitat.

Second gorilla trek and cultural immersion

This day will begin with a second gorilla trek, this time with a different family, to deepen your understanding and connection with these extraordinary primates.
In the afternoon, you'll visit the Iby'iwacu Cultural Village (Gorilla Guardians Village). Here you'll discover local traditions, meet community members and take part in cultural activities for an authentic immersion in Rwandan culture.

Trekking with the Golden Monkeys and back to Kigali
