Day 1: Travel
Steps: Tarangire National Park
We meet at Kilimanjaro International Airport and head for Tarangire National Park for an early morning safari. The park stretches along the Tarangire River and consists mainly of low-lying hills on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Its natural vegetation consists mainly of acacia forests and giant African baobabs, with huge swampy areas in the south. The river and swamps attract wild animals during Tanzania's dry season. Tarangire National Park is home to some of Africa's largest elephant herds. This African national park is also home to three rare species of animal: the greater kudu, the fringed-eared oryx and a few common starlings. Dinner and overnight at Baghayo Garden Suites
Day 2: Voayage
Steps: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, we head for the Serengeti National Park, passing through the magnificent farmlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa - Serengeti National Park - with its endless plains stretching as far as the eye can see. One of the park's richest habitats, the Seronera River is a precious source of water for this region, attracting wildlife that is representative of most of the Serengeti's species.
Dinner and overnight at Narudi Camp
Day 3: Voayage
Steps: Serengeti National Park
Breakfast followed by a full-day safari in the Serengeti National Park. The driver-guide will select the best spots for wildlife viewing. South of the Seronera River, it's possible to spot lions, Thomson's gazelle, topi, ostrich and cheetah. The center also has a store where you can buy cold drinks and snacks, as well as a picnic area and an information trail that climbs up and around a nearby kopje. We'll enjoy a relaxed picnic lunch in the center, in the shade of the giant acacia trees.
Day 4: Travel
Steps: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast at the lodge, we depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We descend over 600 meters into the crater to observe the flora and fauna during a half-day safari. The Ngorongoro Crater is home to a wide variety of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo and giant African elephant. Another asset of this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the elusive leopard. Dinner and overnight at Baghayo Garden Suits
