At dawn, your adventure begins in Zanzibar, from where you'll take a light flight to Selous, an iconic African wildlife sanctuary. On arrival at the Beho Beho airstrip, you'll be warmly greeted by our experienced guide, who will detail the program for your day's exploration.

Travelling the Selous in a safari vehicle is the ideal way to familiarize yourself with the great diversity of its wildlife, including its iconic predators. The reserve is renowned for hosting Africa's largest population of wild dogs, offering a unique opportunity to experience an exceptional encounter with these fascinating animals.

Your exploration will be punctuated by picnic breaks in breathtaking natural settings, lasting until nightfall. On your return to camp, you'll relax around a crackling fire, enjoy dinner under the stars and spend the night in the heart of Selous' prime viewing area, enveloped by the enchanting sounds of the wilderness.

Start your day before dawn with an invigorating cup of tea or coffee, before embarking on a sunrise river safari on the majestic Rufiji River, nestled in the heart of a wildlife-rich territory. This aquatic walk is a privileged way to admire the wildlife coming to drink, and to marvel at colonies of birds, hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat. After a 90-minute exploration, a picnic breakfast will be served in the middle of the bush, offering a gourmet break in an idyllic setting.

Your adventure continues with an overland safari through the expanses of Beho Beho and Tagalala, where grasslands, streams and lakes form rich and varied ecosystems, populated by elephant, giraffe, lion, buffalo, zebra and perhaps even the elusive pack of African wild dogs. A picnic lunch awaits you in a picturesque spot, offering breathtaking views over the expanse of the park.

After this break, you'll continue exploring the fascinating African bushes, before concluding your journey by returning to the airstrip, ready for your flight back to Zanzibar, your head and heart filled with the natural wonders you've seen throughout the day.
