Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu 1338m

On arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, a member of our staff will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel.

Once at the hotel, you can relax and spend the rest of the day as you wish. Overnight in a 3-star hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Driving from Kathmandu to Dhap Bazaar 2850m

We leave Kathmandu in our private 4W land cruiser to Dhap Bazaar. The trail follows the Sunkoshi River, which joins the Tama Koshi River further along our route, forming a large Koshi River until we reach Ghurmi.

We enjoy typical Nepalese cuisine and continue along dense rhododendron forests. We'll pass through numerous settlements before reaching Dhap Bazaar, which will take around 7 hours.

We'll explore the local bazaar and observe the way of life of its inhabitants. Overnight in a lodge in Dhap Bazaar.

Day 3: Trek from Dhap Bazaar to Jhapre 2815m (4 hours via Sigane, distance 13km)

Today we continue on a dusty road to Sigane. Once again, the trail continues along bumpy roads to Jhapre. It's famous for its exceptional views of the mountains in the northern part of the country. We can see Everest (8848m) and Numbur Himal from here, and will also visit gompas and stupas in the village. Overnight in a lodge in Jhapre.

We'll wake up early in the morning to admire the first golden rays of the sun falling on the silvery lining of the snow-capped mountains.

Savoring the view, we continue our hike along a dusty road for a while, then start climbing until we reach Bhulbule.

From here, the trail becomes steep and climbs through rhododendron forests and the small inhabited areas of Lhamuje. The trail beyond Lhamuje opens up to reveal a pasture where grazing yaks can be seen.

We cross a long Mani wall and climb along the winding road to Pikey base camp.

We'll visit the yak cheese factory and enjoy magnificent views of the majestic mountains surrounding the valley. Overnight in a lodge at Pikey base camp.

Day 5: Trek from Pikey base camp to Junbesi 2680m (6 hours via Pikey Peak 4065m, distance 22km)

The day begins with a morning hike along the steep rocky ridge to Pikey Peak (4065m). We can marvel at the magnificent sunrise views of mountains like Mt. Everest (8848 m), Number Chuli (6959 m), Thamserku (6608 m), Kangtega (6685 m), Khatang (6853 m), Kanchenjunga (8586 m), Manaslu (8163 m), Dhaulagiri (8167m), Gaurishankar (7134m), Dorje Lakpa (6966m) and Langtang.

Capturing the beautiful views with our cameras, we descend to Junbesi, followed by the descent to Lamjura. Crossing numerous Mani walls and Chortens on the way, we reach Junbesi.

We visit an ancient monastery in this village and enjoy the magnificent view of Numbur Himal to the north. Overnight in a lodge in Junbesi.

Today will be our day of exploration around the village. We'll walk to Thuptenchholing Gompa, founded in the 19th century.

The trail climbs along the Junbesi Khola to the Gompa. The Gompa offers an in-depth insight into the region's culture and religious heritage. After spending some time here, we return to Junbesi. Overnight in a lodge in Junbesi.

Day 7: Trek from Junbesi to Phaplu 2380m (4 hours, Distance 11km)

Today we follow the dusty trail down the Junbesi Khola until we reach a steel suspension bridge.

Crossing the bridge, we reach Beni Ghat. We continue walking along the trail filled with picturesque delights before reaching Phaplu. We can explore the area as we bid farewell to the Rolwaling region. Overnight in a lodge in Phaplu.

Day 8: Fly from Phaplu to Kathmandu

We will walk to the Phaplu airport, where we will take a scenic flight back to Kathmandu. Our private van will be waiting for your arrival at the domestic airport.

Upon your arrival, our representative will transfer you to the hotel. You can spend the rest relaxing or shopping for gifts and souvenirs. Overnight at a 3-star hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 9: Final departure from Kathmandu

In the morning, after breakfast, we'll take you back to Tribhuvan international airport for your scheduled flight to your next destination.
