Day 2: Day 2: ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK FOR CAR SAFARIS

Steps: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at your hotel, your driver-guide, with his ground safari vehicle, will pick you up and take you to Tarangire National Park for game drives and sightings. Tarangire is Tanzania's third largest national park and home to an exceptionally large elephant population. The majestic baobabs are also an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. On your safaris, you'll see lions, giraffes, wildebeest, elephants, zebras, wildebeest and much more. Lunch will be served by your driver guide at the picnic site inside the park, with a short rest before continuing the safaris. Later, after hours of amazing exploration, you'll leave the park and return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

1st option: Karatu Acacia Farm Lodge

2nd option: Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge

3rd option: Eileens Tree Inn

Day 3: Day 3: SAFARIS IN THE NGORONGORO CRATERLAND TO SERENGETI

Steps: Ngorongoro Crater

After early morning breakfast at the lodge, you will drive and descend into the crater floor for a wonderful game drive (with a picnic lunch) and game viewing. Ngorongoro Crater often described as one of the wonders of the world and designated by UNESCO a World Heritage site, is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations. It is one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in their natural setting. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. With a bit of luck, the ‘Big Five’ can be spotted during one game drive only. Later, drive further to Serengeti National Park for dinner, and overnight at the lodge or camp. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Included.

1st Option: Sametu Camp

2nd Option: Serengeti Matawi Tented Camp

3rd Option: Tanzania Bush Camp Central Camp

Day 4: DAY 04-05: FULL-DAY SAFARI IN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

For example, you can choose to do a morning safari, return to camp for lunch and relaxation and finish with an afternoon safari, or you can do a full-day safari with picnic lunches.

Serengeti Park takes its name from the Maasai language, which means "endless plain". This immense plain (14763 km²) is home to many animals, including lions, elephants, giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, leopards, cheetahs, baboons, warthogs and hyenas, as well as a multitude of birds. Migration often takes place around the Serengeti, when millions of wildebeest and zebra mingle, followed by predators. Our professional guide will point you in the right direction and make sure you have the best time to enjoy these exceptional phenomena. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or camp.
