Day 1: City of Arusha

Steps: Arusha

You will be picked up from the airport by a See Endless Adventure representative and conveyed to your accommodation in Arusha where you will stay overnight, relax, and prepare in anticipation of the adventures to come.

You will have time to explore the City of Arusha and other places nearby.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

Steps: Tarangire National Park

In the morning, you will be picked up from your lodgings in Arusha by our personal safari guide. You will set out for Tarangire National Park across gently rolling Maasai plains with scattered acacia trees.

As you zip along, you may pass many Maasais in their colourful dresses walking on the roadside, riding bicycles, herding cattle, and driving donkey carts. The park is well known for its large elephant herds and is also host to a multitude of other creatures.

From the open roof of your safari jeep, experience the seasonal swamps, savanna, and life-giving Tarangire River endeavouring to encounter a multitude of creatures from zebras to wildebeests, buffalos, elephants, and giraffes, to name but a few. It is possible you'll see lions stalking prey or leopards relaxing in the trees above.

After our extensive game drive, you'll depart to drive to one of our partner lodges for dinner in a tasteful restaurant and a spacious room to harbour your ease and dreams of wild cats!

Day 3: center of Serengeti National Park

Steps: Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, you'll depart for the most famous national park in the world. The drive itself, although long, is spectacular.

This will be an unforgettable moment for anyone seeing it for the first time. As you progress well into the Serengeti, you will see why the name means, in the local language, "endless plains."

The park has 6,900 sq miles (18,000 sq km) and for most of it, the plains will stretch to the horizon defying your senses and perception of distances.

It is the home of the Great Migration where 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras and all kinds of antelopes cross annually. As for big cats and large predators, it's the place of choice to look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas, with many television scenes like the famous River Crossings having been filmed in this park.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater

Steps: Serengeti National Park

Today, you'll leave early for your morning safari to witness a magnificent African sunrise in the bush. After a cup of coffee, you'll set off to discover the wilderness and its magnificent creatures waking up among the dew-covered grasses.

Later, you'll enjoy a full breakfast in the park, not forgetting lunch in the middle of the park.

In the afternoon, you'll leave the park for another chance to explore the plains in search of African wildlife.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater

Steps: Ngorongoro Crater

Rise and shine! It’s an early departure for you today to the lush highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This morning's destination is the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, one of the seven wonders of Africa, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Once you reach the crater rim, you will descend the steep track into the 600 m deep caldera to see a range of animals, grasslands, birds, and a lake.

The massive collapsed volcano is home to over 25,000 mammals ranging from the Big Five to spotted hyenas and some of the more than 500 bird species in the area.

After an extensive game drive and a picnic lunch in the crater, you will head to your hotel in Mto Wa Mbu where you will have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park-Zanzibar Stone Town

Steps: Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you will drive to your final destination on this epic safari Lake Manyara National Park. This is a relatively small but diverse park, 120km west of Arusha. The park’s namesake is a shallow, salt lake.

It covers a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons, and is home to thousands of flamingos and over 500 other bird species. On your exploration of the park, you will see monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, elephants, and with some luck, lions lounging in the trees.

The park is known for its diverse landscapes, not only open grassy plains but also primate-filled woodlands and baobab-dotted cliffs. After lunch, you will head back to Arusha, where you will arrive in the late afternoon and take your flight to Zanzibar.

Day 7: Zanzibar: visit Stone Town and spices

After breakfast at around 7:30 am, you will be picked up by your guide. You'll enjoy the ride to the island on a traditional dhow. You will learn how this small island gained its name and explore the place that is home to more than 50 tortoises, some over 100 years old. After discovering the island and its history, you'll take the opportunity to swim in the clear waters off the coast amongst tropical and colourful fish.

Later, you will proceed with the Spice Tour which takes 3 hours. You will be privileged to learn about tropical fruits, spices and herbs, and a few of the uncommon types of different plants from various vegetation.

On the tour, you can also hopefully see spices such as curry, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, pepper, tamarind, ginger, menthol, Zanzibar cloves, and numerous different spices and herbs offered by the Sultan of Oman over the Indian Ocean. Later, you will be taken to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8: Zanzibar Island Dolphin Tour and Michamvi Beach

The Dolphin Tour in Zanzibar is a half-day tour that is done at Kizimkazi fishing village on the South Coast of the island. The main attraction of this tour is being able to swim close to dolphins. If you are lucky, you can even get to play with them for a couple of hours.

If you like to do snorkelling, we promise that this is the best opportunity for you. Please bring your swimsuits and be ready to get wet!

Later, you will head to Michamvi Pungwi Beach where you will visit the Rock Restaurant before heading to your lodge for an overnight stay.

Day 9: Relaxing on Zanzibar's white sandy beaches

Today you'll go on the Blue Safari (sandbank picnic), one of the most popular and remarkable tours in Zanzibar. The trip consists of sailing with locals with a traditional Swahili dhow, having a great seafood lunch, and visiting untouched, beautiful island beaches.

You will leave from Fumba with a custom wooden sailing dhow. The first stop is snorkelling at the Kwale Coral Reef, offering an overwhelming abundance of corals and colourful fish. Afterwards, you can relax in a paradise-like sandbank with a snack and tropical fruits.

The next stop will be at Quail Island where a beach barbecue seafood buffet is served consisting of octopus, lobster, grilled fish, calamari, soft drinks, and tropical fruits (all the seafood you might want to try).

Additional activities on the island include a short jungle walk to see and climb a 500-year-old baobab tree and swim in a mangrove lagoon before sailing back to Fumba Village.

Day 10: Departure

Today will be a sad day for everyone as it will be time to say goodbye. We believe our team has left a place in your heart with wonderful memories to take home. You will be taken to the airport at a time of your choosing.
