The animals congregate at the river and you should be able to see elephants, giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeests, dik-diks, waterbucks, warthogs and reeds all year round. In addition, the park is also home to buffalo, zebra and wildebeest, which are always followed closely by a range of predators such as lions. Leopards are occasionally seen, but cheetahs are rarely spotted.

From the open roof of the vehicle you can soak up the scenery and observe the animals. After a long game drive, you will leave the park in the late afternoon and drive to your campsite accommodation where you will spend the night.

After breakfast you will leave Mto wa Mbu and drive through the cooler mountainous region towards the Serengeti National Park. The world-renowned Serengeti National Park, with its diverse landscapes ranging from grassy plains and dry savannah to swampy forests, is a magnet for many carnivorous predators and their prey.

The park is home to the largest animal migration in the world and depending on the season, you can witness this spectacular event. Herds of wildebeest and zebra travel during the short rainy season of November and December from the northern hills to the southern plains before returning north during the longer rainy season from April to June.

The location of the migrating herds depends on the annual rainfall, but your guide will know where the best vantage points for wildlife viewing are. Overnight accommodation is at a campsite in the central Serengeti.

Our route takes us back through the Serengeti via a different route, offering plenty of opportunities to spot the animals you missed on day two. As far as the eye can see, you will see thousands and thousands of animals in herds; wildebeest and zebra migrating together, tall and graceful giraffes, antelopes and leaping gazelles, the mighty African elephant and the most respected group of animals:

After a long game drive, you will return to your camp for a hot dinner and overnight stay at the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater.

The crater is inhabited by a spectacular array of wildlife, which includes zebras, hippos, hyenas, wildebeest, warthogs and the famous "Big Five" - buffalo, rhino, lion, elephant and leopard.
