Day 1: DAY 01: TRIVANDRUM - KOVALAM
Steps: Kovalam
You are greeted on arrival at the Trivandrum International Airport/Railway station by The Travel Planners representative and thereafter transfer you to the Resort. Rest of the day free to relax in the resort and stay overnight in your resort.
Trivandrum or Thiruvananthapuram, is the ideal place to start your Kerala journey. Situated between the mighty Western Ghats and the huge Arabian Sea, it was referred to as the “Evergreen City of India” by Mahatma Gandhi. Trivandrum has a rich history and was once home to several princely states and dynasties. There are several official buildings that populate the city such as the Napier Museum, The Kerala Government Secretariat, Kerala Legislature Assembly Complex and Legislature Museum. Some of the other Trivandrum sightseeing options are Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Kuthiramallikka Palace, and East Fort.
Day 2: DAY 02: KOVALAM - TRIVANDRUM - KOVALAM

Today morning after breakfast you can go to the beach and free to relax in the beach, afternoon you can do the sightseeing of Trivandrum [The Capital of Kerala]. Here you can see the 260 year old Sri Padmanabha Swami Temple, Puthan Maliga Palace Museum [200 year old Palace of the Travancore Maharaja's], Napier Museum [Which has an electric display of bronzes, temple carts, Ivory carvings etc..] and Sri Chitra Art Gallery. Evening relax at beach. Overnight at resort.

Day 3: DAY 03: HOUSEBOAT

Your Kerala trip continues with a post-breakfast drive to Alleppey. On arrival, you will be boarding a traditional Kerala houseboat which will cruise through Alleppey’s winding waterways, providing an insight into the lifestyle, culture and unrelenting beauty of small fishing villages.
A houseboat cruise is a perfect place to enjoy an uninterrupted view of life in the backwaters. You can just float along and witness the watery world of hamlets, the paddy fields, punted canoes, and the village life along the banks. Overnight stay will be in the houseboat.
Day 4: DAY 04: KUMARAKOM

Today morning after breakfast, proceed to kumarakom which has a panoramic backwater stretches, lush paddy fields, highlands and extensive rubber plantations. Afternoon visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. There you can spot King fisher, Wood peeker, Drongo, Egrets, Bee-caters etc. Overnight at resort.

Day 5: DAY 05: THEKKADY (PERIYAR)
Steps: Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary
Morning drive to Thekkady the famous wild life sanctuary of South India. On arrival check in at hotel. Periyar wildlife sanctuary, home to nomadic tribes of wild elephant, boar, deer, the great Indian tiger and more. Overnight at resort.
Day 6: DAY 06: THEKKADY (PERIYAR)
Steps: Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary
Morning after breakfast, Visit spice plantations like cardamom, cinnamon, pepper, coffee, tea estates etc. On your way back to the hotel, you could stop at the local market and pick up some fragrant spices. Overnight at resort.
Day 7: DAY 07: MUNNAR
Steps: Munnar
Morning after Breakfast depart for Munnar enjoying the scenic beauty & high mountains with the low flying clouds passing by. You can do on the way sightseeing of Munnar and witness tea gardens spread like a green carpet over hundreds of kilometers, lush green hills, a place so difficult to describe, very low population too far from pollution, most of the area covered by Tata tea. Today morning Drive to cochin. Here you can see the St Francis Church, the oldest Church in India, 500 year old Portuguese Houses, Chinese fishing nets, 16th century Synagogue, Jew Town and Mattancherry Palace, built by Portuguese, this Palace contains some of India’s most beautiful murals. Evening go for shopping. Overnight at resort.
In the final leg of the journey, you’ll be a part of the cosmopolitan culture of Cochin and an intermingling of the ancient and the contemporary. Here you will get to experience some of the oldest colonial houses, palaces, and the famous Chinese fishing nets.
Day 10: DAY 10: COCHIN
