Arrive in Maun, a peaceful town and ideal starting point for exploring the Okavango Delta. Settle into Sedia Campsite for a quiet first night, surrounded by greenery. Vehicle preparation, final shopping and first steps into the Botswana atmosphere.
21 June - Hippo Pools Campsite
Steps: Khwai Et North Gate
The safari begins in the Khwai region, known for its abundant wildlife and river landscapes. First contact with the wild bush. Check-in at the Hippo Pools Campsite, often visited by elephants and hippos.
22 June - Hippo Pools Campsite
Steps: Khwai Et North Gate
A full day of exploration in Khwai, where safaris often offer spectacular scenes: lions on the prowl, elephants crossing the tracks, and colourful birds. Return to camp for an evening campfire under the stars.
23 June - SKL Campsite
Steps: Section Savute
Early departure for Savuti, via a wild and often sandy track. Check-in at the SKL Campsite, deep in the bush. Savuti is famous for its predators, its vast plains and its striking atmosphere.
24 June - SKL Campsite
Steps: Section Savute
Second day in Savuti to explore this iconic area of the Chobe Park. Free game drive in search of lions, leopards, hyenas and impressive herds of elephants.
25 June - Kubu Lodge Campsite
Steps: Kasane - Kazungula
Head north to reach Kasane, a town on the border of the Chobe Park. Check-in at Kubu Lodge Campsite, situated on the riverbank. A restful end to the day after the Savuti tracks.
26 June - Kubu Lodge Campsite
Steps: Kasane - Kazungula
A relaxing day in Kasane, culminating in an afternoon boat cruise on the Chobe River. The perfect opportunity to watch elephants, buffalo, crocodiles and birds at sunset, in an unforgettable setting.
