Stay : St. Petersburg with children

Saint Petersburg can be a very good place for family stays. Most hotels offer children's places in their packages. The main advantages of the city are the variety of its museums and the number of parks that the city has on its territory. One sign is that Russians, who did not go out with their children until a few years ago, are more and more inclined to go for walks and visits with them, so take advantage of that as well.

Day 1: Ermitage & its surroundings

Steps: Saint-Pétersbourg

The visit of the Ermitage can be approached in a more original way than by the standard visit, especially by the impressive rooms of the Galerie des Treasures. Moreover, antiques, especially Siberian ones, as well as the dressing rooms, like those recreating the way of life of the czars, are highly appreciated by children. At midday, the decor of the U teshi na-blinax chain U teshi na is also an opportunity to taste sweet and salty Russian specialties.

A small tour at the Museum of Ethnography in Russia, on the Place des Arts. Its impressive collections of objects and costumes of the people of the fire the USSR will certainly entertain the children.

If the Teplo offers more adult gastronomy, this very popular restaurant has a beautiful playroom for children, colorful and with many games.

ERMITAGE / MUSÉE RUSSE D'ETHNOGRAPHIE

Day 2: On Vassilievski Island

Steps: Saint-Pétersbourg

Visit of the Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography, also known as Kuntzkamera, on Vassilievski Island. Always at Strelka, the end of Vassilievski Island, the Zoological Museum is an excellent playground for children.

Also on Vassilievski Island, the Stolle Restaurant serves delicious Russian cuisine. The Russians often go to the family. Show in the program with the puppets theater, located near the Passage. Performances, recognized as among the best in the world, usually last between 1 hour and 1 hour 30 and take place at 11 a. m., 2 p. m. or 5 p. m. Emotions assured in front of carefully painted puppets. A real treat. The very good Stroganoff Steak House has a great and pleasant children's room. There is also a fairly western menu for small guests, allowing for a small break in the more or less appreciated culinary discoveries. The toilet is also suitable for small guests.

Day 3: In the Golden Triangle neighborhood

Steps: Saint-Pétersbourg

Visit of the charming and outdated museum of the Arctic and Antarctica. Stuffed penguins and penguins, memories of polar expeditions, not to mention the spectacle of the aurora boreal... what to spend a good morning dreaming of white paradise and travel to the Jack London. Lunch in the Ukrop cafe offering healthy dishes. Then walk to the park park of Tauride, offering a very large number of children's structures and games. You will find the same activities in the Mikhhaïlovski garden (Jardin Michel), behind the church of the Saint-Sauveur-sur-le-Sang-Paid. In winter there are also small luge trails and a small rink with skates. Children will love the Great Model Museum (2 nd largest miniature tray in the world). All Russia and its regions are represented there, from Kaliningrad to Kamtchatka. The small trains and cars go through the model in daytime and night configuration. On the other hand, this museum is far from the center, so if you want to stay rather in the triangle of Golden Triangle, a very good alternative is the historic Petrogradskaya Akvatoria Theater, a huge plateau representing the Imperial St. Petersburg with its miniature fleet in the waters and many animations that we trigger by pressing a button (the dance of favorites, cooking a boar, etc.).
