From the bend in the Rhine at Basel, there are numerous cycle paths for cycling enthusiasts, such as the Rhine Trail (Véloroute Rhin), the Rhine Valley Trail, the Three Borders Trail, the Green Route, to which the Freiburg-Mulhouse trail is linked, and the EuroVelo6 Atlantic-Black Sea. A great variety of routes along the Rhine, passing from one country to another thanks to 3 bridges. Whether you're a sporty cyclist or a family rider, there's a route to suit everyone. There's even a 10 km track for inline skaters!

Discovering Colmar and its surroundings on a freewheeler is a good idea! Colmar Bike Tours offers tours (between 25 km and 62 km) at very interesting rates. These include the rental of an electrically-assisted bike or a traditional two-wheeler, and, on request, a baby seat, a children's trailer or a follower bike. Located in the building of the Turckheim train station, Loco'Motive is the first bicycle café in Alsace. It's very nice: wooden ceiling and floor, brick walls and vintage style furniture. We sip a hot drink, a fruit juice or a local beer. There are also delicious pastries provided by Bizkot. Loco'Motive has a section of high-end cycling clothes (Rapha, Café du Cycliste, Gobik...). A membership card to the LCC (Loco Cycling Club) is available, offering a 10% discount on each purchase and access to the rides organized by the café.
