Airports and travel services Haut-Rhin

This Franco-Swiss international airport is located in France and is partly under Swiss administration. It is very convenient for connecting to most of the Balkan countries, as Switzerland is home to a large Balkan diaspora. For example, there are year-round connections to Skopje and Ohrid in northern Macedonia. The airport itself has links with Bordeaux, Marseille, Montpelier, Nantes, Nice, Paris (Roissy) and Toulouse.

There's no question of doing a Colmar-New York from this small regional airport, but it does cater for business travellers, freight transport and the leisure aviation school. Various associations are also present on the site: aeromodelling, gliding, powered flight, parachuting and ULM. The Aéroclub de Colmar offers training for the private pilot's license, and AUL Formation offers multi-axis Class 3 microlight pilot training.
