An Italian-style theater, topped by a dome painted by Jules-Eugène Lenepveu, with a vast auditorium seating 728. One comes here to attend classical music concerts but also classical and modern opera. There are also readings, one-man and one-woman shows, as well as comic and dramatic plays. Finally, note that exhibitions are also organized all year round on the first floor.

Read moreLocated near the Saint-Laud train station, the Théâtre de Chanzy has a space of nearly 700 seats for professional and amateur shows. Its program is very varied: plays, one-man shows, dance shows, classical music concerts or French variety shows. It also often hosts performances by the Orchestre national de Pays de la Loire, the CNDL, the Nouveau Théâtre d'Angers as well as students from dance schools, colleges and high schools in Angers. A subscription card is also available.
