A 5 minute walk from the Plaza de Armas, this colourful and still young address is a backpacker's haven. The dormitories are clean, quiet and still brand new. This hostel is the project of two Chilean architects who love astronomy: a small observatory is installed on the terrace, the dormitories are named after galaxies and you will fall asleep under starry ceilings. The common areas are well thought out, conducive to meetings and you really feel at home. The little extra? The lovely newly installed swimming pool.

A very pleasant hotel which is organised around two main inner courtyards (pergola with a vineyard). The rooms are impeccable (with private health care) and amending patterns. A good plan in Ovalle.

Pan de Azucar Lodge is an accommodation located in the Pan de Azucar National Park, in Chañaral. It offers matrimonial domes built with recycled materials for optimal thermal insulation. The domes feature a double bed with linen, lighting, barbecue and terrace. Bathrooms and showers (cold water) are shared with the camping pitches. Please note that towels, stoves, crockery and cooking utensils are not included. Pets are not allowed in the national park. Precautions are recommended due to the presence of rodents, including the Darwin's Ratón Orejudo, a protected species in the park. Food must be kept in closed containers. Pan de Azucar Lodge offers unique accommodation in exceptional surroundings.

The hotel offers a good level of service, but a little old game in a friendly setting. The price seems a bit excessive, even though the service is most often friendly and smiling.

This campsite has its own spa swimming pool. Cafeteria, tinas (hot water pools), playground for children… A family place in season.

By passing the pisco factory, a deviation on the left leads to this campsite.
