Miss Salouva allows to value the cultural heritage through the creation of ready-to-wear clothes and the beauty of the Bouenis.

Created in 2009 in Cavani in a rather confidential way, the event has grown. It is now a real election with a good organization, scheduled a few weeks before the Miss Mayotte contest. Miss Salouva helps to promote and safeguard the cultural heritage through the creation of traditional ready-to-wear clothing and the beauty of the Bouénis. More than a dress, the salouva is a transmission issue for the young generations. In February, the competition "Le salouva vous va si bien" will take place in Mamoudzou, not to be missed.
