The first destination of the Tuamotu, Rangiroa is very well connected to the rest of Polynesia. The flight from Tahiti takes about one hour (direct). The airport is located in the middle of the main motu, 4 km from Avatoru. Pensions usually come to you for free by car. For schedules, find out more about the company's website. From/to Tahiti. In each direction, at least one flight per day (direct or not).
From Bora Bora. Direct flights on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday; other days of the week with stopover.
From/to Fakarava. In the direction of Rangiroa-Fakarava, flights Wednesday, Friday and Saturday (all direct); in the direction of Fakarava-Rangiroa, direct flight on Monday and Saturday (the latter with a stopover).
From/to Mataiva. In the direction of Rangiroa-Mataiva, direct flight on Thursday; in the direction of Mataiva-Rangiroa, flight on Sunday.
From/to Tikehau. In the direction of Rangiroa-Tikehau, flights every day except Tuesday (indirect Thursday); in the direction Tikehau-Rangiroa, every day except Friday.
From Manihi. In a sense, a weekly flight on Friday morning.
