The Bel Canto restaurant is a slightly off-center address in the residential Belair district, opposite the huge St. Pius X church. The restaurant offers a wide range of Italian dishes, many of them vegetarian, with the emphasis on the quality and freshness of the fish and the fresh homemade pasta. As for pizzas, special mention goes to the Giorgio (arugula, Parma ham, Parmesan shavings). Its sunny terrace is pleasant in summer. A local restaurant above all, but one you won't regret stopping at.

The Antica Trattoria is located at the crossroads of Merl and Belair, 10 minutes walk from the Place d'Armes. It is a small corner of northern Italy in Luxembourg City, with nice fresh pasta stalls and a massive pizza oven near the entrance counter. Here you can enjoy excellent Italian specialities without restraint: escalopes, risotti, antipasti, carpaccio, bruschetta, pizza? The Um Wier is a typical café-restaurant in the Luxembourg countryside, where the regulars meet every day to remake the world, in their own dialect. The establishment offers dishes inspired by French, Portuguese, Luxembourgish or Italian cuisine. Examples include Argentine entrecote steak, duck breast with port and honey or pizzas cooked over a wood fire. The main interest of the place however comes from its terrace, along the Attert river, which is just below the castle. The view of the fortress is splendid!

The Gëlle Klack is a delightful discovery, a small eatery part of the Parc Beaux-Arts hotel, ideally located opposite the Grand Ducal Palace. The well-kept, comfortable interior is more like a lounge bar, which comes alive in the evening with a piano bar, artists' exhibitions and wine tastings. In fine weather, lunch outside is a must. The brasserie-style menu offers local cuisine with traditional flavours. The wine list also features local products.

Although its location is somewhat off-centre (located in the western suburbs of Luxembourg), the New World run by the Tang family is worth the detour! This restaurant offers original Mongolian, Japanese and Thai specialities in a sober and elegant setting. A terrace is also available. Soups, sushis, temakis, tian-pan, Thai-style curry beef... The quality and variety of the cuisine is a great success. A good address that deserves to be known, if only for its culinary change of scenery! Welcome to a new world...

Nestled between Bascharage and Dippach, in a rural environment, this charming restaurant responds to a spirit of "terroir and traditions". Initially run by Katell Guillou, the establishment is now in the hands of his daughter. The menu offers classic dishes based on regional products (terrine, vol-au-vent, ravioli, puff pastry...). After leaving the table, there is a delicatessen corner where you can continue your gourmet pleasures at home (juice, jam, bread...). Just like the setting, the service is impeccable and warm.

The Kimchi restaurant is housed in an impressive four-fronted house on Strassen's main road (it's hard to walk past without seeing it!). Located in Kirchberg (formerly in the Limpertsberg district), Culturando is well worth a visit! It offers Italian cuisine, more specifically from the Campania region. There are no pizzas here, just suggestions that vary daily according to seasonal produce. The bottles of wine on display are a small reflection of what the menu has to offer. Don't hesitate to ask for advice on the perfect food/wine pairing. A friendly, family-run address, where you'll feel right at home in Italy.

Mamacita is Mexican sunshine in the Grand Duchy! All day long, the festive atmosphere and good mood are the order of the day in this restaurant-bar with its warm, modern setting. You'll find Central American specialties (guacamole, tacos, quesadillas, etc.) as well as delicious cocktails. While a wide range of tequilas lets you discover this typical spirit in all its forms. The "bottomless" formula is for the more festive: 2 hours of unlimited drinks (Prosecco, Mimosa, Margarita or Paloma).
