The Mexican national holiday is celebrated with pride throughout the country with concerts, buffets and fireworks.
"¡Viva la Virgen de Guadalupe! ¡Muera el mal gobierno! Long live Fernando VII! ». The famous "Cry of Dolores" of the priest Hidalgo, launched on September 16, 1810, is taken up every year by the president of the Republic to commemorate the beginning of the process of independence of Mexico. It is the festival everywhere: fireworks, buffets, concerts... Note that the celebration takes place on the evening of September 15, and no longer on the 16th, since President Porfirio Diaz moved it to coincide with his birthday! A very picturesque national holiday.
