This temple, founded by a disciple of Daishonin in 1293, became the main centre of his teaching of Buddhism. It consists of several buildings including the five-storey pagoda (Gojū-no tō). If you come from Hakui station, get off at the Takiya-guchi bus stop (18 minutes, 370 ¥) and then walk for a quarter of an hour.
