Located on the east bank of the river Okavango, right next to the Popa Falls, this charming campsite offers 3 individual and private camps that can hold 2 to 3 tents each and 1 camp with up to 6 tents. Each site has toilets and hot showers, a braai corner (barbecue) and a water tap. Some also have wooden observation terraces.

Proposed activities. Excursions with a local guide, visit of the Rapides Rapids, observation of abundant avifauna along the river Okavango. Boat rides arranged on request with adjoining walls.

Other possible visits nearby: Bwabwata National Park.

Still bad 6 years later no improvement expensive compared to other campsites. Will defnetly not recommend this one

Leider ist dieser Campingplatz durch das derzeitige Management total runtergewirtschaftet. Speisen wurden keine angeboten. Im Haupthaus funktionierte die Wasserspülung in den Toiletten nicht. Die Gemeinschaftnasszellen für die Campinggäste nicht unakzeptabel. Es gibt für Frauen und Männer nur jeweils eine Toilette, Dusche gibt es nur eine einzige. Nur gut dass der Platz nicht gut gebucht ist (heute nur vier Plätze belegt), ansonsten würde sich vor der Dusche eine lange Schlange bilden. Wir können nur einen Tipp geben: NICHT hierher kommen!!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful campsite but facilities need maintenance, most campsites not usable because main ablution block broken down.

Convenient roadside campsite, large pitches, which we chose after visiting Damara Village. It has an outdoor shower under a tree protected by sheets and bathrooms without a door, but it is the most characteristic of my vacation. I liked it because it is original, but essential in services. The staff were not very talkative.
They run excursions to take you to see the elephants in a nearby puddle.
