It's been 2 years since Russia invaded Ukraine, and 3 photographic exhibitions are on show at the Gare de l'Est in Paris, with the aim of combating indifference to the plight of the Ukrainian people. The first exhibition features photographs of Ukraine at war, taken by photographers working in the field; the second features portraits of refugees in France, while the third focuses on the Ukrainian railroad and its decisive role in the conflict. The SNCF is mobilizing, and has not chosen this Paris station by chance. It was here that thousands of exiles were welcomed to flee the bombardments. Click here for more information.
