For the sixth time, a contemporary art exhibition will punctuate the gardens of the Manoir d'Eyrignac in 2024. Lasting eight months, it will follow on from those of the artists already exhibited, Dietrich Klinge, Patrick Lainville, Christian Lapie and Pierre Treilhes. From April 8 to November 3, the gardens of Eyrignac will be home to 20 works by Basque sculptor Ariel Elizondo. Born in Brussels, this artist lives between San-Sebastian and Saint-Jean-de-Luz. He is one of the sculptors of the "Euskal eskultoreak" collective in the Basque Country. Made of stone and steel, Ariel Elizondo's creations express a balanced dialogue, solidity mingling with fragility in a choreography of materials. Installed in all seven gardens, from medium-sized to large, the masterpieces will add an extra sensory dimension to your visit. The inauguration will take place on Monday, April 8. The day before, on Sunday April 7, registered visitors will be able to preview the exhibition in the presence of the artist, and take part in a two-hour sculpture workshop with him. With this new exhibition, Eyrignac confirms its status as an open-air art gallery. An event to be enjoyed in the gardens throughout the season!
