Sud-Ouest has been present in eight départements since 1944, with a readership of 1.3 million, and publishes four editions in the Charente-Maritime region (La Rochelle/Ile de Ré, Saintes/Saint-Jean-d'Angély, Rochefort and Royan/Jonzac). The paper devotes part of its pages to international and national news, but above all reports on local news. News from the former Poitou-Charentes region (départements 16, 17, 79 and 86) is scrolled in real time on the website, or news bulletins are broadcast on television, notably in the evening edition at 6:50 pm. They precede the national news every day. From Angoulême to La Rochelle, via Poitiers or Niort, news items or general information, France 3 puts the spotlight on comprehensive, quality news with replays and videos.

RCF (Radio chrétienne francophone) is a network of over 60 radio stations in France and Belgium. The Charente-Maritime radio station joined the Christian radio network in 1996. With over 20 years' experience, the station offers both comprehensive information and a wide range of programs, from spirituality to debates... Christian Radio broadcasts 4 hours of local programming a day. News at 6:30am, 7am, then every hour until 5pm - Monday to Friday.

It's one of 44 stations on a radio known for its broad, popular appeal.
