Since 1990, storytelling, in all its diversity and magic, has delighted Capbreton's inhabitants for 4 days. This festival places particular emphasis on young audiences. Mixing imagination with inspiration from travels and encounters, the storytellers imbue the town with the magic of their words. Four days of wonder await young and old at every street corner. The traditional and not-to-be-missed meeting place for bargain hunters every^3rd Sunday of the month! This event takes place in the heart of the typical Basque village of Ahetze, 15 minutes from Bidart and Guéthary. In this labyrinth of alleyways and squares, you're bound to find vintage porcelain crockery, that unobtainable vinyl record...; objects and furniture, often forgotten by the high-tech world, but reminiscent of the savoir-vivre of yesteryear. It is every year since 2015, the meeting of the best professional surfers on the planet! The International Professional Surfing Competition (QS 3.000), female and male of the World Surf League. This event was born from the common will of the city of Anglet and the WSL to put the town and the Basque Coast at the heart of the professional surfing qualifying circuit. It is now one of the most important events of the European season. The best pros come to compete on the famous spots of the Atlantic Ocean.

Open-air screenings of the latest surf films in the Jardin de la Grotte de la Chambre d'Amour in the evening, and daytime screenings at Espace de l'Océan. Each evening features a new concert, a food truck village for nibbling before the film screenings, and a fireworks display on the closing night to celebrate the festival's 20th anniversary. During the event, the Sportjam Surf Test will also give you the chance to try out the latest surf, surfskate and beach bike equipment.

The commune of Anglet has managed to develop its urban area to encourage outdoor activities. Benefiting from almost daily sunshine and pleasant temperatures, the town has opened up to the practice of cycling. The seafront is bordered by a cycle path, called Boulevard des Plages, which is 4.5 km long. Starting from the esplanade Yves-Brunaud, it goes up along the eleven beaches of the city, up to the beach of La Barre. From there, you can join the Adour river and pedal towards Bayonne on another cycle path along the water. The Boulevard des Plages can also be reached on foot. A total of almost 18 km have been laid out today. It's up to you to choose which beach you want to stop at!

The Place des Cinq Cantons continues to be a great success, as it is transformed to welcome some thirty artisans. Like every year, the heart of the market will beat to the rhythm of the German village, where visitors will find, in a typical atmosphere, the gastronomic specialities and traditional products of Ansbach, Anglet's twin town in Bavaria. An event not to be missed, with plenty of gift ideas, entertainment, fairy-tale decorations and illuminations...

The Quartier Moderne or young designers' weekend: two editions a year for over 10 years now: spring-summer in May and autumn-winter in December. It's Nouvelle-Aquitaine's designer brand show! Held at the Espace de l'Océan in La Chambre d'Amour, it brings together nearly 40 recognized and up-and-coming designers in various fields of fashion, accessories, cosmetics, decoration and art.... In addition to the stands, fun and recreational workshops are also on offer, as well as a food court. Gift ideas!

Here we go again for the 6th edition! A very friendly trail located in Barcus, a small village in the Pyrenean foothills, on the border of the Basque Country and Bearn.

Beautiful ascents and descents on the program. To close this beautiful sporting event, meet up for a drink and a talo (a cornmeal cake) at the end of the trail!

For several years now, the Campo de Feria has been established around the bullring as a matter of course, a direct legacy of the great "romerias" organized in the Vauban moat by the Cercle Taurin in the early 1950s. A great event bringing together the festive atmospheres of Seville, Pamplona and Bayonne. Around the bullring, exhibitions, bars and restaurants, musical entertainment, parades, tertulias ... and the plaza of Bayonne is ablaze from morning to evening in an atmosphere very aficionada and festive around the bullfights of the Feria de l'Atlantique.
