This forest was first born in the imagination of some foresters who went to collect cedar seeds in the Algerian Middle Atlas. The cedar forest forms a massif of 250 hectares, divided between the communes of Bonnieux, Lacoste and Ménerbes. There are a lot of walks to do and the levels are quite easy. One can easily walk along the whole crest of the Petit Luberon to Cheval Blanc or to Oppède. But beware, it is necessary to provide a vehicle for the return.

A via ferrata is a climbing route with iron ladders... Enough to get thrills in complete safety. It is accessible from the city centre and the experience is unique in France! It is hung on the cliffs of the Saint-Jacques hill with a 360° view from the Ventoux and passes through the Luberon and the Alpilles. On the technical side, the experts say it's a good route to get back on your feet! In any case, on paper, the via Natura is more suitable for families.

Fed by the Mirail spring, Etang de la Bonde is the largest lake in the Luberon. Swimming is supervised from July¹ to August 31 on the main beach. In addition to the large beach near the campsite, there are a number of south-facing beaches at the foot of the Aleppo pine-wooded hillside, offering quieter, unsupervised swimming. In high season, it's best to go early in the morning. A few pedal-boats are available for the crossing.

The hike from Cabrières d'Aigues to Mourre Nègre is a rather sporty excursion that takes you through a magnificent forest of Aleppo pines to the summit of Mourre Nègre. From the parking lot at Cabrières d'Aigues town hall, you'll follow a 16 km-long marked trail via the Chemin des Méritants, the Couleton and the Basse de Cabrières, before climbing the highest peak in the Luberon. In practical terms, this is a loop, which means you return to the starting point. Allow around 7 hours to complete this hike, taking into account breaks and individual pace. The reward at the top is well worth all the effort, as the breathtaking panoramic view over the southern Luberon, with its green hills, peaceful valleys and perched villages, is simply breathtaking!

Of all the canoe rental companies, these are the nicest and they offer the most attractive and longest routes. We have tested it for you! Count 2 hours to cover the 8 km while taking a break in the small square halfway. The children love the small dams, a guaranteed sensation, but in complete safety! The return journey is by bus and your personal belongings are well protected in a waterproof container. You can choose between 2, 3 or 4 person canoes (with 2 young children for the last one). We provide you with life jackets.

From the village square, there are many looping footpaths. Some have a bit of a history. Such is the case of the chemin des Fileuses, named after the spinners from Cabrières d'Avignon who came to work at the Fontaine-de-Vaucluse wool mill. 5 km of sometimes narrow paths through garrigue and natural caves to the old quarries of Cabrières-d'Avignon. From the village square, cross the bridge towards Cavaillon, then take the Gordes tourist route to the youth hostel.

Lanes, monkey bridges, zip lines and footbridges are a delight for young and old alike, supervised by a young, dynamic team. No physical predisposition is required, just an introductory course (approx. 10 min.). The courses have several levels, 6 of which are accessible to children, including the "spider net". Younger children, aged 2 and over, can try their hand at the "Feather" course. A continuous lifeline, accessible to all, allows you to move around the courses without ever being unhooked.

Located between Fontaine de Vaucluse and Lagnes, just 6 km from L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, this park offers a unique outdoor experience. With over 130 games and evolving courses, there's something for all levels and ages. Reservations are required, and the park provides all the equipment needed for safe play. A snack bar is also available on site.

He accompanies each group for an adventure along the water, another way of discovering the landscape and villages crossed, the fauna and flora. You will embark in canoes for 2 or 3 people. Kayaks are available for more experienced people. 2 courses, 8 km between Lauris and Cadenet for which it takes about 1h15 of navigation and 18 km from Lauris to Puy-Ste-Réparade for 3 hours of navigation.

This lowland river rises at Fontaine-de-Vaucluse and flows into the Ouvèze after 32 km. It is the most regular of the department's small rivers. Its waters, long used to run mills (paper, flour and madder) and spinning mills, are now used for agriculture and leisure activities such as fishing and canoeing. The clarity and quality of the water, and its constant temperature of 13°C, make it a first-category river. Its waters have long been renowned for their trout.

Caroline worked in the cultural and sporting events sector, while Anouk was a psycho-educational teacher. Both mothers, they dreamed of a place where children could blossom: nature with all it has to offer. They pooled their skills to create a day-care center dedicated to 6-12 year-olds. All activities take place outdoors, in small groups according to age group: pottery, watercolor painting, building huts and feeders, treasure hunts, sensory hikes, giant hide-and-seek, pastry-making and cooking workshops. Murs, a small town in the Vaucluse region, offers a variety of activities for outdoor enthusiasts. The Association Spéléologique Ambiance Spéléologique Mursoise offers caving initiations, outings and camps, enabling visitors to discover the region's underground wonders. In addition to caving, Murs also offers other activities such as escape games, fishing, golf, climbing, paragliding, adventure courses, via ferrata, paintball and mini-golf.

The center was built in 1968 and renovated for the comfort and welcome of individuals, schools and sportsmen of the Val de Durance. It is equipped with indoor and outdoor infrastructures. Within its walls, a multi-activity pool of 25 m with 6 swimming lanes and a paddling pool. Outside the walls, there is a vintage diving pit, a 25 m Nordic pool and a multi-sports field. All year round, swimming lessons are given for children and adults.
