The week is then animated by conferences, workshops of language, dance or song, concerts around the Occitan language and culture. A place and time for teaching, animation and study, it is also a time of encounters where students have the opportunity to speak with local Occitan speakers, writers and artists of renown.
COLLÈGI D'OCCITANIA
Read moreFounded in 1927 in Castelnaudary by Prosper Estieu and Joseph Salvat, the Collège d'Occitanie provides continuing education and distance learning of Occitan. Courses are offered for all levels: from initiation for beginners to literature and civilization courses for the more advanced. The training structure also offers conversation workshops, writing workshops as well as support for the baccalaureate or a competitive examination. The establishment was recognized as a public utility in 1969.
