The best pubs Midi-Toulousain

The goddess of land, fertility and rivers, founder of Ireland according to legend, gave his name to this very nice pub, located just a few steps from the canal du Midi and the Halle aux Grains! The animations to be followed here are numerous: concerts, retransmissions of football matches as rugby, evenings in good company! Beer flows afloat, tradition obliges, but you will also find whiskey, cocktails, ciders or smoothies. Groups are welcome, even with private space, for an anniversary or any other event.

The Hopscotch has taken up residence in one of the little streets that stretch out near the Capitol. Here, the Scottish tradition is respected: barrels and armchairs in worn leather, whisky with over 350 references to taste, from Scotland and all over the world! As for suds, in addition to traditional draughts, you'll discover home-brewed beers, because the pub is also a microbrewery that's creative to say the least: Nothing Toulouse, brewed from chocolatines! Good atmosphere and good spirit, definitely one of our favorite addresses.

Another Toulouse pub quickly adopted! Why? Once through the door, the Seven Sisters takes you across the Channel to London's "sisters" district! An elegant pub like no other in the UK, with weathered leather banquettes, framed soccer or rugby shirts (100% Toulouse!), floral wallpaper as green as a well-watered lawn... and broadcast matches. The taffy machines line up neatly on the counter, just waiting for you to enjoy an authentic evening. But be warned, as the trio at the head of the establishment make it clear: this isn't the home of the Irish! Drink London Pride or MeanTime with nibbles. Enjoy!

You don't need to make a round trip to Dublin to experience an Irish evening: just walk through the door of the O'Briens pub. The warm, relaxed atmosphere is spread over three levels. Each floor has its own intimate space, decorated to suit. On the first floor, there's a long counter, because there will be lots of you. On the second floor, banquettes and wood, you order at the bar and the service is Irish-style - you're the one on the move! On the second floor, you'll find a cosy lounge area with sofas, carpet and darts, of course, and plenty of green for a touch of color. Like any real pub, there's drinking, games, a mix of ages and great music!

Because knowing the address makes you a familiar, faithful, one of those who definitely put the atmosphere! With its two air-conditioned rooms, its friendly team, tasteful decoration, red benches, English green Walls, a cosy atmosphere, O Faubourg is a place for Relaxation. The pub offers more than beers on the map… tasting! Eclectic music, large screen TV of 107 cm for the retransmission of sports events or distribution of clips, the place has everything to seduce you… In brief, a framework and a convivial atmosphere, what more?

A punk-rock reference in the South of France, this den dedicated to alternative currents swears by excellence and originality. The annual program of its live shows is highly anticipated, so don't hesitate to follow it closely. The small stage of the Celtic welcomes punk, ska, rap, but also poetry, slam, or Occitan singing. Very lively, the atmosphere is supported by Jean-Louis who welcomes you every night and also offers you a nice beer menu.

Its decoration with hundreds of posters is also unique and worth a look.

In the heart of the city's Irish Corner, it's not really surprising to find this typically Irish pub. Everything here is Irish, from the beer to the decoration and the waitresses. It's like an enclave, one of those where you can speak English while watching the Premier League games on big screens. A small drawback however: the music is really loud (it seems to us). Just next door is The Dubliner, another pub no less Irish, absolutely packed with young people on Fridays and Saturdays.

At the foot of the slopes, the Bocadillo leaves a pleasant musical atmosphere: Jazz in all its forms, lounge, funk, but also pop-rock, electro-rock… there are for all tastes! The site is held by Philippe, one of the flagship characters of La Mongie, whose philosophy is simple: everything he does, he does well. A recipe that works because we come here for the atmosphere and for "the fine team" behind the bar! At the same time as seasonal QG, who find themselves here after the job, and guests from all walks of life, this relaxed and urban lounge frame is perfect for a mountain-shaped evening. Here you can find a few tapas with a good glass of wine or a great salad. Modern and original garden (suspended coffee bags at the ceiling), the "Boca" is intimate with small spaces but the room in L makes it always close to the bar! Theme nights with DJ are regularly of the game, so this address is more than recommended!
