It still produces its hats in the traditional way, with machines and know-how of yesteryear, for a perfect result. Each season is an opportunity to rediscover the classics, but also to see the birth of new creations to please yourself all year round.

In 1946, Auguste Crambes, a former manufacturer of felt hats in the Aude region, founded the Crambes company with his wife Marie. He revolutionized hat making by creating canvas hats, based on an idea of assembling pieces of fabric on cork. With 200 models of hats and caps, the company also offers the major French luxury brands to have their hats made in Caussade. The company designs more than 50,000 hats per year and you can discover the manufacturing process through a guided tour.
