If, like more and more French people, you travel by coach, you'll be passing through Toulouse via the Pierre-Sémard station. It's located right next to the train station, a ten-minute walk from the city center and accessible by metro. Tisséo manages the agglomeration's entire local transport network. The network currently includes two metro lines (with a third planned), two tramway lines, one of which has just been extended to the new MEETT exhibition center, numerous bus routes and a transport-on-demand service. Accessibility for wheelchair users is ensured by ramps, wide passageways and elevators. The bus network is gradually being modernized to offer a dozen Linéo lines: a service between the bus and the streetcar that serves major residential, employment and business hubs, with increased frequency and extended opening hours. Single tickets and Pastel card top-ups are available at every streetcar station and stop. It's also possible to buy your ticket directly on board your bus, but beware: it will cost you a little more. Smart tip: the Ticket Easy app lets you buy and validate your ticket with your smartphone, and the Tisseo app lets you top up your Pastel card. Tarbes and the Hautes-Pyrénées department are at the crossroads of the mountains, the Atlantic and the Mediterranean coasts, and enjoy an excellent location that attracts a growing number of tourists. The station is well served by the rail network and the site is very busy during the winter and summer seasons. Several TGV, Intercity and sleeper trains connect Paris to Tarbes via Pau and Bordeaux. The TER network also allows to reach some high altitude resorts and the Basque Country.

If you arrive in Toulouse by train, you will disembark at the Matabiau station. It is a ten-minute walk from the city centre and is served by the metro. The bus station is nearby and there is a connection with the airport shuttle. The Montauban train station offers many daily connections, in particular to link Montauban to Toulouse. In short, you can travel anywhere in France! The reception of disabled people is possible in the hall of the station, a ramp allows access to the hall from the forecourt. This station is equipped with a defibrillator. There is also a restaurant with a press point.

Good to know: in order to avoid the constraints of driving around the city with your car, the Tisséo transport network provides 7 park-and-ride facilities at the termini of its metro lines, as well as at the busiest stations. Please note, however, that these parking lots are not supervised.

The transport network of the Occitanie region is united under the name of liO. Ideal to discover the regional heritage. Among the regular intercity bus lines, choose your destination, often inaccessible by train. Important rehabilitation works are under way on the Slope of Water, thus insurmountable. However, they provide all cruises with a replacement circuit. Embark on the 2-hour blue circuit, starting from the port, with five locks at the descent, then go to the foot of the machines for technical explanations from the boat and return to port by the locks.

Traveling by bus or bicycle is an ecological and practical way to get around the urban and suburban areas of Montauban. Buses run from Monday to Saturday, schedules are available on the website. A special service accompanies the travel of groups throughout the town. The "Libellule" assistance allows, upon reservation, a transport on demand, with services complementary to the regular lines of the urban network. Auch station provides regular TER train connections with Toulouse, via Isle-Jourdain and Colomiers. All other train connections have been cancelled in the Gers. Therefore, the only way to get around the department using public transport is by bus. The station is equipped with an automatic ticket dispenser, a parking lot with 51 spaces and bike racks. The "Accès Train LIO" service for people with disabilities is available free of charge by booking at least 48 hours in advance.

LIO is the bus service set up by the Occitanie region. Of the nine routes in the Gers, five link Auch to neighboring cities: routes 931 (Tarbes), 932 (Agen), 933 (Montauban), 934 (Aire-sur-Adour) and 935 (Toulouse). Routes 951 to 954 are more local (Condom, Nogaro...). Buses depart from and arrive in front of Auch railway station. They run every day, but timetables vary during school vacations.
