To make the department discover its inhabitants and to travel travellers, the Tourism Committee of Doubs had the idea of developing this original concept: the Safari GPS. Halfway between the track game and the treasure hunt, it leads you to meet the most important places in the territory. Among them, the Mérey-sous-Montrond karst trail is a real geological treasure: You can climb in a green setting and punctuated by unsuspected caves. Would you like to add a playful dimension to this educational course? Very well, you will be required a GPS allowing to return geographical coordinates, a hint of curiosity and a good dose of observation! Accessible to everyone, an activity that combines nature, culture, and adventure…

The Tourist Office offers a wide range of services to help visitors prepare for their stay, including information on accommodation, restaurants, activities and ticketing. Tourist advisors are on hand to offer invaluable advice. Lons-le-Saunier is a spa town, but it's also a heritage city, with its arcades and the home of The Laughing Cow. It is also the capital of the Jura region, and nearby visitors can discover the vineyards or the listed village of Baume-les-Messieurs, with its caves, abbey and waterfall.

Situated between the Massif du Mont d'Or and the Massif de l'Herba, the village of Les Hôpitaux-Neufs is the commercial center of the Métabief resort. It is famous for its 13th-century Romanesque church, which was burnt down by the Swedes during the 30 Years' War and restored in Italian Renaissance style in the 16th century. The Baroque bell tower was added in 1694 and the church is now listed as a historic monument. The village also offers a wide range of outdoor activities, including hiking and trail walking, mountain biking, paragliding, fishing and climbing. In winter, the Métabief resort offers cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and a variety of other winter activities.

Arc-et-Senans is primarily the royal saltworks. But it is also visits to the surrounding villages, mansions, beautiful bourgeois houses, small villages with crazy charm… for the most sports: hiking, mountain biking… The tourist office will provide you with all the necessary information to enjoy your stay and discover the best of the region. 

Poligny is the seat of the syndicate of Revermont which includes sixty towns of the triangle Poligny-Alpine laburnum- Saline and part of the since 2009 labelled French territories "City and Country of Art and History" by the Ministry of Culture. The service of animation of the heritage of the Country of Art and History from 1719 serving tasty events and offers a calendar of thematic tours from Poligny, arbois and Salins-les-Bains, and workshops for children, therefore combined with the cultural events. Le Revermont, Country of Art and History in addition with two itineraries of heritage, short walk marked panels on foot. One, to the village of Monnet, takes you to meet its historical figures, vineyards and local geology. The other, in Oussières, will make you discover an exceptional historic oak grove.
