It is said that Lorraine is a region of passage, because it is located at a crossroads. A tourist guide to Lorraine will prove to you that it is also good to linger there. The scene of many battles, the object of discord and covetousness, Lorraine, on the border between three countries, is a splendid region and a special place in France. For many Lorraineans, the attractive capital is called Luxembourg. And all architecture lovers will tell you: Metz is a German city.

Then you only have to travel a few kilometers to get away from it all. There is the beautiful countryside of the Meuse, the plateaus of Meurthe-et-Moselle and the Vosges mountains. There is the Art Nouveau of Nancy and the yellow cathedral of Metz. There are the great lakes of Gérardmer, Longe-Mer, Retourne-Mer, Pierre-Percée, our beaches between the mountains. There is our food, obviously turned to the delicatessen, our pâtés and our potées of course, but also our macaroons, our madeleines, our mirabelle plum... As for the famous quiche that travels the world, we are still looking for the Lorrain who will claim to be its creator. And everywhere, this gently smiling tranquility that will welcome you at the bend in the road.
