Mademoiselle Paris is the baby of Jean and Myriam who left the Paris region to try their luck in the United States by opening a bakery-pastry shop and restaurant in Bradenton. You can enjoy croissants, mille-feuilles and other religious dishes, but also duck with orange sauce, scallop risotto and beef bourguignon... Not to mention the weekend concerts and, every month, a wine tasting based on a region of France. With the success, they even opened two other bakeries in Sarasota and Anna Maria!

Here is a very good and rather cheap creperie located on the pedestrian street Espanola Way in the heart of SoBe. Whether savory (galettes) or sweet (crepes), everything is delicious and the taste is identical to the Breton creperies. As for the rest, there is a nice selection of sandwiches and salads, French-style appetizers, generous dishes such as tartiflette, as well as nice cheese and charcuterie platters. The intimate setting evokes the traditional French bistrots, and you can enjoy sitting on the terrace or in the patio with its lovely trees.

An address not to be neglected before going further into the desert areas surrounding Needles.

The fish tacos with choice of black beans and pico de gallo are delicious, as is the San Franciscan Cioppino with mussels, clams, crab, cod, shrimp and scallops.) Everything is very hearty, so don't bite off more than you can chew. The dining room is pleasant and bright, and prices are reasonable.

The large Hawaiian community of Japanese origin loves it and so do the many Japanese tourists! It may well be that you will find yourself surrounded by Japanese people. The Gaku has become the reference in izakaya in Oahu. The chef prepares all the dishes in front of the customers and it's excellent. Try the "oyster shot", from oysters to iced sake: a pure pleasure.

This building, saved in extremis in 1979, houses a pub that serves a rustic and delicious cuisine. On the ground floor, the pub, which seems to be straight out of a Charles Dickens novel, with its glossy bar and old stone fireplace.
