The Castellet track, or circuit Paul-Ricard, celebrates its 50th anniversary! Created in 1970 by Paul Ricard, the famous automobile circuit is a mythical track where the French F1 Grand Prix takes place every year. Born from the very impulse of Paul Ricard with the support of drivers such as Jean-Pierre Beltoise and Henri Pescarolo in the 1970s, it is one of the most beautiful tracks in Europe, spread over 5.8 km, which can boast no less than 13 bends and a straight line called Mistral 1.8 km long. In the Var region, the spirit of its builder blows the spirit of its builder by also being a leisure site dedicated to motor sports. The 964 m long, illuminated go-kart track offers five different layout solutions. Multi GT driving courses are organized on Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Audi to live an extraordinary experience. Dix Mille Tours du Castellet is an annual race organized by Peter Auto on the famous Paul Ricard circuit in Le Castellet, Var. Depending on the grid, it uses both tracks, the F1 Grand Prix track and the other one without the northern chicane with the Mistral straight line allowing to reach 300 km/h for the Group C Racing prototypes. The Dix Mille Tours du Castellet is also the presence of car clubs (vehicles before 1971 or possibly more recent) that can participate in driving on the track, but also the presence of merchants and exhibitors.

What success! Years in years the notoriety of the Castellet racing races won't be démérite! You who have never seen this fabulous and impressive spectacle, you who have already seen it and die of returning to it: All of you must no longer hesitate and organise a weekend to attend one of these races. For over 45 years now, La Croisette has played host to the Royal Regatta Festival. The event welcomes over 150 of the world's finest yachts. For a week, the largest and most famous yachts of the last century, often over a hundred years old, compete in fierce jousts in a convivial atmosphere. The regatta is held off the coast of the Lérins Islands. Don't miss the royal regatta village with its many exhibitors.

The merchants'association, the Bandol Yacht Club and the Bandol Yacht Company put their heart to the book to breathe new life into this nautical event in the noble title. La Veil d'Or, which celebrated its 26 th edition in 2014 after two years of interruption, brings together a more experienced day and winter pleasure, the time of a coastal race, both sporty and convivial.

Every first May, the USAM organizes the Nature of the Three Forts in Faron. Accessible to athletes as well as to Sunday riders, this is an original way to rediscover the Toulon Mountains, while taking a fresh breath of fresh air. There are three courses at different levels depending on the candidate's age (1 km, 2 kilometres and 11 kilometres). The slopes will surely make you regret for a moment not having taken the cable car, but the satisfaction of getting away is worth it!

On August 12 th, the commune of Guillaumes will be on the rhythm of his Bullfighting Hike. In the program, no bull reassured you, but a 8,2 km foot race composed of three identical loops. The course gives you a total difference of 250 m: so it is better to be a brin trained before you start; you are warned! Do you want to make your summer holidays a little sport? Take advantage of the opportunity and visit 18 h 30 of General de Gaulle!

On August 5 th, the municipality var var Du will host its sporting event «les 1000 Pattes», a 10,6 km rolling race in the forest, alternating between underground paths. Want to add a competitive dimension to your regular workouts? It seems that the opportunity falls by the wayside: so join the 120 athletes expected that day! The meeting is given on the place of the town hall at 17 p. m. for the removal of the funds: don't miss him!

The Nice Martial Arts Festival, organized by Essor Riviera Karate, is the oldest event of its kind in the region, it is also the most recognized by athletes and martial arts federations. Since 1996, all the best known and most successful champions have come to Nice to participate in this spectacular show and represent their category: karate, capoeira, taekwondo, krav-maga, kung fu, MMA and many others.... On March 17th, the town of Beausoleil celebrates Saint-Joseph by means of sporting challenges. If you enjoy very good physical condition? Go in the rise of the 458 stairs Riviera, which leave the city centre, near the market Gustave Eiffel, and that goes up to Riviera Palace. A race against the clock as intense as unusual, which is on the way allows you to enjoy the picturesque scenery of the city! The lighthouse event, the Ekiden, is not taking place the following day, but as a way of putting it into mouth, the Mini-Ekiden will run the streets of Toulon on March 4. In the programme: 5,2 km in relay to four young people on a 1 kilometre loop. Adults who are more trained, will certainly take part in the famous Toulon marathon on March 5, in relay to six athletes!

Tariff: free (for information, the registration fees at the Ekiden, on 5 March at 7 h 30, amount to € 60 per team of six).
