Read moreChef Gao worked in some of the finest restaurants on the Côte d'Azur before settling in Bophut with his wife. Two types of cuisine are offered: Thai and French, Mediterranean and Provençal. Half-cooked tuna with exotic sauces, fish of the day, porcini ravioli, 7-hour-cooked lamb mice, also very good meat from Australia. Dessert was also top-notch, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream surrounded by a warm doughnut covered in strawberry coulis. A real treat!

The decoration is rather modern, the cuisine is fresh and seasonal and the view is superb and relaxing. Here, you can eat Thai food, fish specialties from local fishing and prepared à la plancha, in carpaccio or tartare. For those who prefer meat: flank steak with shallot or duck breast and pan-fried potatoes. Gourmands will also appreciate the gourmet coffee based on exotic fruits of Samui, or artisanal ice-cream. In the evening, the atmosphere is romantic, it is also possible to have dinner on the beach, or simply enjoy a good cocktail.

It is run by a nice couple, Jérôme and Nastasia. The subdued light in red tones and careful decoration give the place an intimate atmosphere. Good cooking, with noble products: Rossini steak, scallops, foie gras... The dishes are simple but elaborated with know-how. Warm and personalized welcome. France is in the spotlight!
