The pretty, peaceful commune of Carsac-Aillac, with a population of around 1,500, is well worth a visit for its superb Jardins d'Eau, a peaceful setting surrounded by water and lush vegetation. Water lilies, giant aquatic lotuses, plants of exotic origins, waterfalls... The church of Saint-Caprais, set back in a green setting, provokes just as many feelings. This Romanesque building, dating back to the 12th century, has been recently restored and is distinguished by its sobriety, serenity and beautiful stained glass windows. It offers a variety of activities: accrobranche, canoeing, skatepark, cycling, stores and restaurants.
