Covering an area of 25 km², the commune of Monterblanc is located about ten kilometres north of Vannes, on the southern flank of the Lanvaux moors. It is bordered to the north by the Arz, a tributary of the Oust and is crossed by several streams: the Faouëdic, the Luhan, the Rudevent and the Condat.
