Jointly organised by Comité des fêtes, the oyster Trade Union and the Tourism Office, Fête de l'Huître is generally held on the second-last Sunday of August. On the harbour, there is oyster tasting of course, presentation of the material that is necessary for oyster farming, folk groups, traditional music ensembles, vocal ensemble (sailor songs, Celtic circles ...), amateur and professional oyster sellers or big Fest-Noz are on the program.

La fête de l'huître de Locqmariaquer est un rassemblement sympathique pour déguster de l'huître sur le port de la ville en musique. On y trouve ainsi une scène où les artistes passent et on peut déguster des huîtres à côté. C'est une fête sympathique et agréable pour passer un bon moment.
