The small island of Hoëdic, which means "duckling" in French, with its 250 inhabitants is an isolate where authentic life has not yet given way to mass tourism. You enter the island on one level and walk around on foot. In summer, the raw white light, which dazzles us on the walls of the whitewashed houses, makes us think of a Mediterranean island. The islanders enjoy a minimum of comfort, they have preserved the fragile balance of the dunes which conceal a sumptuous flora with sea lilies and wild carnations.
