Located on the Nantes-Quimper axis, halfway between Vannes and Lorient, Crach is bordered by the Auray River to the east and by the river that bears its name to the west. A name that is otherwise pronounced crack and which would be a variant of kreac'h or krech meaning eminence, or hill, in Breton. Coming back to its location, the commune has a strategic location as it is only a few hours away from various well-known tourist points such as Sainte-Anne-d'Auray, Carnac or the Gulf of Morbihan. With its many vestiges of the past (churches, chapels, fountains, calvaries and megaliths), the town is not to be outdone. The unspoilt landscapes also allow for beautiful walks, especially thanks to its 4 courses.
