The Breton bowl

It is the essential Breton souvenir to bring back, to offer or to give as a gift! The Breton souvenir par excellence! Although it is customary to buy it in Quimper, you will find these bowls with ears just about everywhere. Be aware that the bowls all come from Pornic and not from the more famous Quimper faience factory. If your first name is not on the list, you can have them personalised as you wish.
If you wish, there are many mugs and cups personalised with the colours of Brittany.

The sailor

Your visit to the Emerald Coast will be the occasion to put on your most beautiful sailor suit. A must-have for your wardrobe, the most famous are those from Armor Lux or Saint James, both of which offer a collection of marine-inspired products. A timeless item that goes with everything and that you can choose from multiple colors: from the traditional blue and white, or red and white, to the more atypical yellow, pink, or green! To be worn all year round, in a chic or casual version, by the sea, in town and even in the country!

Sneakers

In Saint-Malo, the Malouin designer Redge gets his kicks customising your trainers. An original idea to personalize your most classic shoes, a real work of art from Saint-Malo. A meticulous handcrafted work because each shoe is unique and drawn by hand with a felt pen. Count on an average of 2 to 2.5 hours of work.

Gastronomy

For those with a sweet tooth, the Emerald Coast is full of delicacies and other gustatory pleasures. As for drinks, you will be able to bring back in your luggage: ciders, beers, gins, arranged rums, Breton whisky, Breizh Cola or even chouchen... so many drinks that will brighten up your aperitifs, dinners and evenings.
As for sweets: the unavoidable salted butter caramels, the Malouin pavement from the Cathedral bakery, the potatoes from Saint-Malo, the Breton butter palets and the famous Dinan gavottes, plain or coated with chocolate, among others, will delight your friends.
For the more savory palate: Bordier butters and cheeses, canned fish from La Belle-Iloise, seaweed-based products such as seaweed tagliatelle and spices from Roellinger's store in Saint-Malo Intra Muros and in Cancale.
For less transportable or perishable gourmet souvenirs, take note of the various traditional recipes of Brittany to reproduce them directly at home. The advantage is that you will be able to make them over and over again and that they require, for the most part, only a few ingredients. We can only advise you to try it: pancakes, galettes, Kouign Amann, galettes saucisses...
The opportunity to prepare meals with a Breton theme and to let your friends and family discover the gustatory pleasures that the region has to offer while spending a pleasant moment.
In many stores, you can find assortments of cookies, caramels, terrines and other delicacies. Often presented in metal boxes with the effigy of Brittany, you can reuse them to make for example a cake box.

Vintage posters

In the right shops, you might fall for a vintage-style poster that highlights the coastal resorts. Like a perfect trompe l'oeil, these posters will offer you a beautiful window on the region. Go to Merci Monsieur in Dinard or Love Paper in Saint-Malo.

Children's book : Les Aventures de Tom et Lola by Benjamin Perrier and Jules

5 books for children (6/10 years old) on sale exclusively in the Dinard Émeraude Tourisme shops. Tom and Lola are brother and sister and, every year, they go to the Emerald Coast for holidays... and live unforgettable moments. To read: an Extraordinary trip in Dinard, the aces of fishing in Lancieux, Rescue in the creek in Saint-Lunaire, The treasure hunt in Saint-Briac-sur-Mer, the Clocher Coupé in Pleurtuit.

Car stickers

In another register, for the less original, you will be able to find Breton stickers, to stick as you wish, but particularly on your car. Many locals see their car decorated with these stickers and their mythical bigoudènes. We can quote among others the brand A l'Aise Breizh whose stickers are very popular on the coast.

Magnets

In all souvenir shops, you will find Breton magnets, a classic to stick on your fridge! Inexpensive and visible every day, it is ideal to continue to dream a little of your holidays.
