Saint-Germain-en-Coglès, located near Saint-Etienne-en-Coglès and Du, comes from Saint-Germain, Bishop of Auxerre in the th century, and Breton'coglez ', which means «north». Until the middle of the th century, Saint-Germain in Coglès called Saint-Germain in Coglais. To see, the church of Saint-Germain-d'Auxerre (1850 th century - 1853 -), whose choir dates from the th century and the door, adorned with a sculpted frise of palmettes and animals from the th century.
