Born in 2017, Maen Roch is a new commune grouping Saint-Brice-en-Coglès and Saint-Étienne-en-Coglès. You will find a heritage mixing nature, with the Motte wood and the arboretum, and 17th century castles: the Motte castle, formerly the seat of the Saint-Brice seigneury, the Branche manor and the Rocher-Portail castle, nicknamed the French Downtown Abbey . You will see old mills such as the Champinel mill as well as several private chapels. Urban walks are ideal to explore the towns of Saint-Brice and Saint-Etienne. Unusual: the old town hall of Saint-Brice used to have a covered market on the first floor.
